Electro-Dermal Screening:

Cecelta Bryniawsky, EDST is a 1998 graduate of Central Ohio College of Health Sciences. Cecelta practiced for seven years in Toronto before moving home to Vernon.
cecelta@whitehousewellness.com

Electro-Dermal Screening is a non-invasive computerized procedure that measures electron flow or energy along numerous pathways (Chinese acupuncture meridians) where they come to the skin's surface.  Cecelta will identify which organs or body functions are out of balance.  She will then test for the frequency of pathogens such as parasites, viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungus and environmental pollutants; as well as determining food and environmental sensitivities.  Cecelta will then use her knowledge and the testing results to begin the steps of finding the homeopathic remedies, nutritional supplements, flower essences, herbals and diet to be considered in order to balance the person.

Who should be screened?

  • Those who suspect something may be wrong and want to have it checked out
  • Those who practice preventative health and wish to identify potential problems before they become an issue

Kinesiology:

Scott Fader, BHK is a 1994 graduate of the University of Windsor.  Scott practiced in Ontario and Michigan for six years, and in Vernon for the past seven years.
scott@whitehousewellness.com

The term "Kinesiology" means "the study of movement" and takes a very broad and comprehensive approach to the study of movement, and the positive influences of movement and physical activity on human life.  It is a multi=disciplinary science that encompasses anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, psychomotor behavior, social and cultural factors.  The goal of a kinesiologist is to discover strategies for human health and performance.  Scott's work will benefit all those who move, including those suffering from chronic injury or disease, those wanting to improve their overall physical health, and high performance athletes.

Some of the services offered by Scott include:

  • Fitness Appraisals
  • Rehabilitation Services
  • Lifestyle Programs
  • Athletic Training
  • Maintenance Programs

Massage Therapy:

Massage therapy focuses on the function of the skin, circulatory systems, nervous system, myofascia, joints, and muscles.  Effects of massage therapy to these systems may be direct or indirect during the course of treatment.  Whitehouse Wellness uses Swedish massage, which works by manipulating the soft tissue to increase circulation and reduce muscle tightness.

Indications that massage therapy would be beneficial include:

  • Acute or chronic back pain
  • Whiplash and headaches
  • Repetitive strain or carpal tunnel
  • Stress management
  • Sciatica or piriformis syndrome
  • Prenatal massage

Most private extended benefits programs cover some portion of massage therapy, so get started on enjoying a more relaxing life !
